Sesame oil has been used in ancient India, Egypt and China in foods and also applied topically to the skin as a moisturiser and massage oil. It has a slight warming effect which eases sore, tired muscles and it stimulates skin cell regeneration. Sesame also has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-aging properties. In addition, it is one of the few massage oils known to remove toxins from the body.

Olive oil contains many nutrients essential for maintaining healthy skin cells. As a rich, natural emollient it is especially suitable for dry, dehydrated or damaged skin.

By locking in moisture, this organic product gives added protection from external factors for up to 24 hours and provides relief from the constant irritation of dry skin.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Dalan D’Olive Body & Massage Oil is a multi-use product that can be used to cleanse your skin daily in the bath or shower. Apply to wet skin from head to toe using firm but gentle circular motions, creating a mild lather. Rinse off with warm water.

To use as a massage oil, ensure the area of skin be massaged is clean and dry. Pour some oil into the palm of one hand then quickly rub it between the palms of both hands and warm it up. Place both hands on the skin and massage it in using firm pressure and slow, flowing movements. Depending on the area of the body you may like to place both palms flat on the skin and gently push both thumbs deep into any tight muscles or knots using tiny, circular movements. Or you may want to use your knuckles or the heels of your hands to apply different types of massage stokes. Maintain a slow, constant rhythm and avoid stopping and starting if possible. Keep the oil nearby so you don’t have to stop and reach for it during the massage.

After each section of skin has been massaged, cover it as soon as possible to keep the area warm and allow the oil to penetrate deeply and hydrate the skin.
